Welcome back! I am so excited to be your child’s Learning Support teacher this year. I have been counting down the days to meet all my new students. Teaching is my passion and I have been preparing all summer long for our new adventure.
My name is Karen Dudley. I have been in and out of the classroom for about 20 years, I have taught general education grades 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, and 6th grade. Most recently, I have taught Academic Autism 2nd-4th grade. I have a passion for reading, writing, being outdoors, and spoiling my dog. I graduated from The University of Wisconsin and received my Masters in Special Education from Holy Family in Philadelphia.
During my time away from school I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband Brian and I have started hiking throughout PA and surrounding areas. My daughter, Mariah, rides a horse in Central PA Youth Rodeo, so we are pretty busy with her horse! My other daughter, Anya, attends University of Delaware for Wildlife Conservation and Public Policy. My son is a senior at Dallastown and is finishing up his Eagle Scout project.
I cannot wait to learn all about your child and see their growth this school year. If you ever need anything or have any concerns I want you to know I am always available. I look forward to being a partner in education, I truly believe we are in this together.
