About Dr. Randi Payne...

Dr. Randi Payne began as the Acting Principal at Locust Grove on Tuesday, March 17th.

Prior to her retirement from public education in January 2024, Dr. Payne served as the Assistant Superintendent of the Northeastern York School District, capping off a nearly three-decade career in education. Her extensive background includes diverse leadership and instructional roles, such as elementary and intermediate principal, middle-level English Language Arts teacher, and Learning Support teacher. Holding a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Immaculata University, she remains passionately connected to the field by instructing aspiring teachers at York College of Pennsylvania and consulting for the Lincoln Intermediate Unit. Dr. Payne is already familiar with our community, having previously supported our district at Mazie Gable. To ensure a seamless and fully supported transition for our students and staff, Mrs. Libby Stambaugh, Director of Elementary Education & Federal Programs, will be working closely alongside Dr. Payne to provide ongoing guidance and administrative support.
