Bio of Dr. Mundis

Dr. Mundis is now in his 27th year of teaching.  He taught many grade levels including 1st, 3rd, and 5th. Most of his years were spent teaching grade 4.  

 

Dr. Mundis' elementary years were spent at Pleasant View Elementary School.  He graduated from the Red Lion Area School District in 1993.  He studied Elementary Education at Lock Haven University and completed his teaching degree in 1997.  He began his teaching career in the fall of the same year.

 

In the following year Dr. Mundis returned to his Alma Mater.  Immediately, he began a Master’s Degree program at Western Maryland (McDaniel College) in Westminster, Maryland.  Dr. Mundis completed a degree in Special Education in 2000.   From the years 2000-2004, he was continually involved in attending educational courses.  

 

In the 2004-2005 school year, Dr. Mundis completed his K-12 Administrative Certification.  In 2005, he began a Doctoral program in Educational Leadership at Immaculata University.  This degree was completed after six years.   In addition to teaching at Red Lion, Dr. Mundis enjoys the role of adjunct professor for both Wilkes University of PA and McDaniel College in Maryland, however has taken a backseat from this role in the last two years. 

            Dr. Mundis is extremely dedicated to his family.  He and his wife Michelle have two children, Morgan and Mitchell.
